Take-Two Interactive claims a trademark against IT Takes Two Studio

Companies will file brands to own certain words and expressions related to their products. Disney would not want someone to win money with a character called Mikey Mouse. In this case, they would file a brand request to legally force this company to give up Mikey Mouse. However, legal action and sensible action are not always on the same side. There is a lot of negative buzz around Take-Two interactive complaint against Haze light Studios, IT Takes Two developers.

Apparently, the successful cooperative adventure game IT Takes Two has a name too similar to that of Holding Take-Two Interactive. Take-Two Interactive is the parent company of the big game publishers Rockstar Games and 2K Games.

It seems that Take-Two Interactive has taken measures against Haze light Studios some time ago. A notice of abandonment was filed for the title IT Takes Two in March, just a few days after the game.

Who will be the next victim of Take-Two? Hollywood will he be forced to do everything in one grip? Will the Italian mafia pay a fine to be a mafia? Take-Two is actually very active in the filing of brand claims against other companies, especially with uses of mafia, Rock star and civilization.

As for the future of the series, nothing prevents Haze light Studios from continuing to sell the game or make a suite. However, they can not deposit their own brand request against anyone who also wants to create his own game called IT Takes Two.
