Viktoria Pilsen for the sixth time Czech masters

Viktoria Pilsen won the Czech football championship again after four years.

The team from the western Bohemian beer and industrial city was already in the lead four points before the last round.

Viktoria Pilsen defeated first division promoted Hradec Kralove in the stadium in Mlada Boleslav 2-0. The second -placed Slavia Prague meanwhile played 1-1 against Banik Ostrava. For Pilsen it has been the sixth championship since the first Czech football league was founded in 1993. Coach of the traditional association has been the former Czech national coach Michal Bilek for a year.
